The Radio Dept.
The Radio Dept. is a Swedish indie pop / shoegaze band signed to Labrador Records. They have released two full length albums and a series of singles and EPs. The band originated in Lund, Sweden.
In 1995, The Radio Dept. was formed by Elin Almered and Johan Duncanson (who were old school friends). The name was taken from a gas station/radio repair shop in Lund, Sweden, which had a large sign with the name Radioavdelningen, (“The Radio Department” in Swedish) hanging outside their shop.
Since 1995 members have been coming and going and at some points there has never really been a Radio Department at all.

Asobi Seksu
Asobi Seksu (formed in 2004) is a New York City, United States based dream pop/shoegaze band. Singer Yuki Chikudate often incorporates Japanese lyrics into her songs. The band’s name in Japanese consists of two words, “asobi” meaning “play” or “for fun”, and “sekkusu” the Japanese imported word referring to “sex” as in sexual intercourse.
Their sound has been said to draw influence from the shoegazing movement of the late 1980s to early 1990s, which was coined to describe the textured and effects-heavy sound of alternative rock in that era. The band consists of Yuki Chikudate (singing|vocals), James Hanna (guitar, vocals), Haji (bass guitar|bass) and Ben Shapiro (drum kit|drums).

Pure Reason Revolution
Pure Reason Revolution is a british rock group formed at the University of Westminster in 2003, whose music incorporates elements of progressive rock, grunge rock and electro, with its vocal harmonies reflecting those of The Beach Boys. Members have a shared appreciation for the work of bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Justice , Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Super Furry Animals.

Youth Pictures Of Florence Henderson
It was chance that brought the Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson together. It was having nothing better to do that made them make music.
Meeting while attending studies in northern Norway in the fall of 2003, the idea of forming a band quickly emerged. School days were short; the sultry city too far away, and there wasn’t all that much else to do. Drummer Morfar, being the most experienced, was the most eager. Toby and Jerry both had guitars. Audi bought a bass. They had a band and didn’t know what to call it. Toby picked up the line “nude pictures of Florence Henderson” on a TV-show. Nude became youth and they had a name.

Destroyalldreamers
Destroyalldreamers was founded in the summer of 2002 in Montreal, Canada, by Eric Quach (guitar) and Shaun Doré (drums). Their first compositions were later embellished with the addition of Mathieu Grisé on guitar and Michèle Martin on bass, which led to the recording of their first full-length album À Cœur Léger Sommeil Sanglant by Patrick Lacharité (Below the Sea) in early 2004. It was released later the same year on Montreal’s label Where Are My Records

Pillow
Belgian band Pillow was founded in january 2004 by a Guillaume Vilain but was quickly join up by four guys from Belgium and France. Together, they produce some depth and instrumental short tracks. These compositions full of various structures go straight to the point.
